Assignment 5: Post-reading Crucible poster

**Complete this assignment AFTER you've completed reading The Crucible.

Annotating can be a part of reading and writing on webpages, like in diigo, but it also serves other purposes. For this assignment, you'll annotate on a poster that you create by writing short pieces of text that connect elements together. Read on for more details.

The Crucible contains many pertinent themes:
  • The dangers of hysteria
  • The importance of reputation
  • The effect of extremism and intolerance

Your assignment is to create an interactive poster about one of these themes using Glogster. Never used Glogster? Watch one of these two informational videos: Glogster in 90 Seconds or Detailed Glogster

Go to Glogster's homepage to start. Your Glogster poster should contain a the following (but you can definitely put more on the poster):
  • A title that include both the theme and the name of the play (i.e. Reputation in The Crucible)
  • A paragraph that explains your chosen theme
  • 2 images that relate to your theme
  • 2+ quotes that relate to your theme from the play
  • 1 piece of audio OR video that relates to your theme
  • 2+ annotations on the poster--think about these as an explanation for a video, a caption for an image, a note about the theme
  • To complete this assignment, you'll paste the web link to your Glogster within the assignment submission. I should just click on the link to see your Glogster.
Here is an example Glogster that contains all of the required information.
