Introduction to Spreadsheets

OpenOffice is a full suite of productivity tools that is available for free from

the web. The software is open source, which means that the code base is public and there are 1000s of contributors and programmers around the world. The software mimics Microsoft in many respects and provides a high quality alternative to the proprietary (and often expensive commercial versions available).

Calc is the OO version of Excel which provides a fully functional spreadsheet program which can also support Macros.
