Michigan LearnPort
This professional development portal, developed through a public-private partnership between the Michigan Department of Education and Michigan Virtual University, offers anywhere, anytime learning to all Michigan educators.

Currently,  Michigan LearnPort  offers more than 150 high-quality online courses ranging from "Bloodborne Pathogen for Schools" to "Inquiry Science in the Elementary Classroom."  Over 30 courses are available for SB-CEUs, with more added monthly.   Many courses are no cost or low cost, offering educators the chance to explore online learning.

Features enable Michigan teachers, administrators and paraprofessionals to manage and track their own online learning.  Free access to the award-winning netTrekker d.i. search tool helps users find websites aligned with Michigan State Standards, student-friendly images and resources arranged by grade and/or student reading levels.  Financial support for Michigan LearnPort is provided through ESEA  Title II, Part A(1) funds.

(Bb Admin's Commentary:   LearnPort is a wonderful asset to Michigan Teachers and school staff who need to earn SB-CEUs especially since most of those courses are  FREE. Please  take a look at LearnPort and see if  the FREE online training  can be of benefit to your school district.)
